SAFE SHELTER

Building and improving homes to protect families from harsh weather conditions. Every family deserves a safe place to call home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality in the villages we serve.

Installing wells and water purification systems to ensure access to safe, clean drinking water. Water is life, and we're committed to bringing this essential resource to every community we serve.

THE FOUNDING STORY

In 2014, seven hearts from Jennings County were moved by a pastor's testimony about Haiti's desperate needs. What began as a single visit to witness the struggles became a lifelong commitment to serve.

Annie Walker, Mary Weber, Jan Megel, Jane Kirchner, Charlie Weber, Dan Megel, and Richard Lee founded Hoosiers Helping Haiti in 2017, knowing that love transcends borders and that together, miracles happen.
